Cheney expressed excitement about accepting the Republican vice-presidential nominee. He stated that the future is bright for him working with a person who is able to be a team player with individuals of differing political opinions and who share the same goal. Richard Bruce Cheney born Jan 30th, 1941 in Lincoln Nebraska, the son Richard Herbert Cheney the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was moved to Casper, Wyoming with his family at the age of 13. His father, who was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, directed the soil conservation district located in Casper.
