Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born on 20th August 1974 Aviano Italy) American actress, particularly acclaimed for her critically acclaimed portrayals of naive and charming characters. Adams began her career as a 7-year-old within Castle Rock Colorado. The mid-1990s saw her begin dancing and performing professionally at Boulder's Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. Then she moved to Minnesota and was cast in Drop Dead Gorgeous, a documentary mock film that focused on beauty contests. The actress moved from Minnesota to Los Angeles after making her debut in the screen with an innocent, but funny contestant. She was the wife of the actor Tony Curtis from June 1951 to September 1962 and she was the mom of Kelly Curtis and Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh, who was introduced to her by the actress Norma Shearer Leigh signed a contract with MGM to launch her journey as a film star in the late 1940s. She starred in a number of cult films over the decade that followed, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (from the year 1960) as well as Living It Up (1954), starring Martin Lewis.
