April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She started with guitar and piano in the 7th grade, which ignited her interest. When she was in seventh grade, April began taking guitar and piano classes. The lessons sparked her passion in writing songs. The year she turned 14 was when she devoted a great deal of her time making song lyrics and working on the music she was playing. Then, she began taking trips across NY and LA together with her father so that they could both write songs. April began also to incorporate additional topics that were related to of her classmates who struggle with such things as peer pressure disabilities and even teens who commit suicide through the songs Take my Hand. Lockhart is also gaining a growing popularity as a lifestyle influencer and works for popular brand of clean and natural beauty Ilia. As a woman born with no left hand, the woman is a major part of her. However, it's not her entire story. Lockhart's Instagram profile doesn't conceal her handicap, but it doesn't concentrate solely on her disability. The message? The message? That we are all multifaceted, and that our physical and identity selves are not all that appear. Lockhart, via video messages from his Nashville home, states I don't want this to define myself. I'm much far more than just my physical self. And it doesn't affect my everyday life. I go about every day as normal and have found the best way for me to adapt to things. This is a major element of my life and it's imperative to discuss it. Her journey to self-acceptance will be one that lasts an entire lifetime. She is an inspiration in this regard. Even so, Lockhart admits having moments that made her feel uncomfortable about her appearance and wearing clothing which displayed her arms. She wears what she likes and posts photos of herself wearing the clothes she wears on social media. What makes self-love so appealing to her is the fact that it's not a goal. It's the same for everybody regardless of their insecurity. It's vital to surround yourself people who can see and know your true heart.
